Congrats to Roy Kimberley who won the 10 ball championship in Cardiff over the weekend, beating Phil Hendrickson in Final, after beating Tony Southern in a dramatic 7-6 shot out in the semis, in the other semi Phil beat Ireland's Fred Dinsmore 7-3. in the last event in Wavertree in October Roy has to finish 2 places above Tony to regain the no 1 spot on count back, and win the Ikon 7 cue kindly provided by tour sponsor Predator. full results and video to follow next week when I'm back from my hols [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2012-08-20 21:54 ]

Wasn't I the only one who picked Roy in the Facebook poll? What do I win? Nah, seriously, congratulations Roy. Can't wait to see the video - amazing quality, with some of the best production values in the UK pool arena as far as I'm concerned.

I'd also like to thank the staff at Riley's Cardiff for making us feel so welcome and for managing to get some of the tables reclothed including the match cloth provided by our sponsors Simonis. Also thanks to Alan John our tournament director as well as the committee for their efforts throughout the year. Finally thanks to Phil and Craig for the work they put in with regards to the club arrangements .Full report to follow soon.

No worries... What happened at approx. 1.06:00 on the video? It looked like Roy gave ball-in-hand after missing the one-ball, and then there's an edit, and Roy is shooting again, and the camera is being hand-held all of a sudden?
I'm not suggesting a conspiracy theory on the scale of the moon landings nutters, but did something funny happen?
p.s. Absolutely superb video once again. I love the editing to tighten up the length of the matches by removing racking etc. and thanks for the plug at the end again, always appreciated... Top job fella!
