How much of it is actually their own though? I don't buy into all this multiple thousands a man if theyve only got a couple of hundred on themselves.
And if they have more, then why the the devils playground isn't 9-ball played for bigger pots of money?

What Im saying is why isnt there a 17000 pot at 9-ball? Why is it £500-£1000 a man between top amateurs who'd play 8-ball for tons more?

Unlucky Craig, looks like Ronan played a blinder towards the end. Ronan always has a huge wedge on himself when he plays btw. Big 9 ball matches in the UK are rare and it's a lot to do with the bigger players not wanting to play each other, the margins are too small between win and lose so the value becomes less and the risk is high. After Daz played Tommy Donlan for a total pot of £16K, we haven't really had anything else of that size. Understandably, players don't want to rush into a match with Daz. Ever tried counting £16K in crumpled fivers and tenners? It took me forever but I had a smile on my face when I did it
