A new year, a new format, a new winner?

In 2010 Scott Higgins beat Adam Shaw to win the first event and last year Tommy Donlon won a nailbiting final over Andy Barnett. Who will be next to step into the winners circle?

DETAILS

Date: Sunday 2nd September 2012
Venue: Rack n Roll, Belgrave Gate, Leicester LE1 3XL
Doors Open at 10.30am
Play starts at 11am

Entry Fee: £25 (payable in advance. Deadline - Friday August 24th)

FORMAT (Limited to 16 players)

Race to 15 Single Elimination, with a plate (Race to 7) for 1st round and ¼ final losers (1/4 final losers are seeded into 2nd round of the plate)
Alternate breaks

* 9 on the spot
* 2 at the back

* Golden Breaks count

I wouldn't be so sure pal...few players there who can give him a fright if he isn't on his game. Al Coton and Dean Gamble are more than capable of running him close.
