Archer makes another B+R
DARREN APPLETON 3 - 5 JOHNNY ARCHER
Commentators making a big thing about Darren looking slumped in his seat, and that his opponent will take heart from that. They may be right, but at the same time, I've seen Darren do this before and I know it doesn't mean anything... Darren is just as likely to play exceptionally well while looking like this.
DARREN APPLETON 3 - 6 JOHNNY ARCHER
Credit where credit is due, Johnny has been playing quite fast and confidently in this match, despite juggling no less than four cubes of chalk around the table each shot.
DOH! Strange final rack, possible 3 fouls opportunity for Archer, but Darren didn't really get a chance to shoot anything tasty is the last 3 racks.
DARREN APPLETON 3 - 7 JOHNNY ARCHER
Game over! Darren's out and Johnny advances.
(OMG, post match everyone is telling Johnny how he missed the chance to lock Darren into 3 fouls... Ken Shuman, Shane Van Boening, Scott Frost and now Alex Pagulayan, all telling him he should've gone for 3 fouls.
