Well, with a stinker of a draw, Phil lost early on to 3 time world masters champn Thomas Engert, but showed real character and determination to come through to the last 32ko.....beating Thomas Engert in a rematch in the final qualifying match!
He then played "lights out" pool to beat Melling 8-3, Pzokowski(young polish sensation) 8-4, and Appleton 8-5.
In his semi final match literally everything went against him, it was just not to be.
All in all, another great result for the wonder kid to follow his 5th place in the last Eurotour where he beat Thorsten Hohmann, Tony Drago, Imran Majid along the way!

In my humble opinion, he still has a lot to learn (don't we all lol), and areas of his game that really need to improve but we are working hard on these parts of his game, he really is a pleasure to work with, and I think as well as his obvious ability, he has one of the best attitudes I've seen..
I am proud to be managing Phil, and working with him on his game in order for him to move forward, he is a REAL talent with a bright future.

Phil will be flying out to the States tomorrow for a month, where he will be competingin the BCA events and US open 10 ball championships in Vegas, as well as other events around the New York area.
