TOTAL9BALL ANNOUNCES NEW AMATEUR SERIES FOR 2011/12

Total9ball are proud to announce our new Amateur series. This series will consist of 10 events... 8 Ranking events, 1 Grand Final Qualifier and The Grand Final itself all to be held at St Albans Hurricane Room.
Total9ball trialled a format at its current series events and we feel its worked really well. Each player gets 3 matches of minimum race to 7, players are then placed into a league table with the top 8 being seeded in the last 16 and the next 8 players drawn in to play them.
St Albans Hurricane Room facility are very good and they always play great hosts to our events.
We class amateur as players who aren't in the top 16 on the GB9 Pro tour or in the top 64 on the Euro Tour.
To be eligible for the Grand Finals you must attend at least 3 of the Eight events. Players ranked in the top 16 at the end of the 8 events will be invited to the Grand Finals, all other players eligible will need to attend the Grand Final Qualifying event.

Grand Final Qualifier- £25 (Players that get through will get Final entry for Free)
Grand Final Entry- £25 (Top 16 On Rankings Only)

Ranking System (Points for each event below)

Winner - 30 Points
Runner up - 25 Points
Semi Final - 20 Points
Quarter Final - 15 Points
Last 16 - 10 Points
All other players - 5 Points
(Ranking points are worth double at events in December, January and May)

**Entry £32 (£27 if paid in advance up to one week before)
**Format All players in 1 group everyone get 3 matches race to 7. Matches won are the same rack difference will be used to split players. The top 16 will qualify**
**£7 entry plate comp for any players who don’t get into the prize money**
**Alternate Breaks**
**3 point rule**
**Handicap -3 to +2 (TD has the right to change this system if needed)
**maximum 40 players**
**Please bring match balls and magic racks if you have them please**

Event 7 Entry Fee is £32 but save £5 by entering and paying your entry fee up to a week before the event. Reply to this thread now to enter this event and remember just by playing the last two events you can play in the £1000 Guarenteed Grand Final Qualifer.

This club has put alot of work in and is now looking class, 9 tables all reclothed and cushioned, all work has now finished and the whole club has been painted. I spoke to alot of players at GB9 over the weekend who said they were going to enter, reply now to this thread to enter and help support the Souths only 9ball series. Great day of pool action heres a chance for everyone to continue there form from the weekend or put right some mistakes, also if you enter the last 2 events you will be invited to the £1000 Grand Finals.
