I will be hosting a double elimination 9-Ball H/Cap competition on Sat 5th May down at AMC Leisure ( formerly Slick Willys, Connaught Leisure) situated in Worthing, West Sussex. Entrance fee will be £30 and handicapps will be based on level of player (will use T9B handicapping). This event is open to all players as would like to get as many to enter this as possible. Format will be double elimination race to 7 on winners side & race to 5 on losers side. The final will be played a race to 10. High rack, 3 point rule with alternate break and golden breaks allowed. Payouts will be decided near the start date adjusted to the amount of participants. Handicap system will be -4 to to scratch so races will be longer than 7 and 5 respectively. ALL ENTRY FEE'S WILL BE PAID OUT AS PRIZE MONEY!!!!! AMC Leisure has 10 shimmed Brunswick Gold Crown tables that this event will be played on with a fully equipped bar and food menu and very comfortable surroundings. If you have never visited this venue before then its a must. This will be a pay on the day competition but if you could let me know on this thread if you would like to attend it would be very much appreciated. AMC Leisure1. Paul Wensley 2. James Topliff 3. Awwwwwww... Sounds like they've shimmed my favourite tables! I hope this wonderful weather holds out, you'll get a tonne of entries from people who want to have a paddle on the beach... You are literally opposite the pier at this club - I love it.

I know this comp clashes with Rico's up in London but have lots of English 8-Ball stuff going on down here and Phils T9B on most weekends this was the first real available date. 3mm BDK plays a little tighter but will be another 3mm when they get reclothed.

Checked your website and: I beg your pardon for a little irony but it seems it is the first ever 9-ball tournament played on ironed tables proof: http://www.amcleisure.co.uk/#/cue-sports/4560066379Seems like fun, as soon as I am around I will surely pop in No offence Regards [ This message was edited by: pooler on 2012-04-17 09:35 ]

Due to lack of participation and Rico's comp in Kings Cross the same day, will have to unfortunately pull this comp off. Will be arranging another comp soon that does not clash date wise with any other competition on.
