Total9Ball

The Championship Of The South is an event that was run for the first time last year by Total9ball, The tournament is unique to all others as it allows players to enter the main draw twice, therefore each player gets two stabs at getting into the prize money. Allowing each player to enter twice it gives the event unbeatable value as this means a player could get into the prize money twice, it also means although its a Knock-out format each player knows they will get a minimum of two matches.

This event was won last year by Craig Osbourne. If my memory is correct he paid around £50 to enter... played around 8 matches and ended up The overall Winner and was also a beaten Quarter Finalist therefore he cashed twice and left the club with around £650 in his wallet, so not a bad days work.
This event received so much positive feedback it was run again at St Albans as an amateur only version won by Craig Waddingham, T9B then took the event to Mickey Flynns and ran an another open version call The Championship Of East Anglia where unbelievably it took less than 6 hours to fill up the 32 available spots, This Event was won by Imran Majid and finally new to 2012 the format was used in The Rookies comp won by Mark Singleton

Total9Ball The Championship Of The South 2 will be held at St Albans Hurricane Room on Saturday 19th Mayl.

Total9Ball believes this comp is the ultimate test for a 9ball player, Have you got the Stamina to keep focused all day? The bottle to be the first player to take first and second prize? The fitness to play races to 7 back to back to back? The ability to keep cueing throughout the day? The Drive to become T9B Champion Of The South.

Venue - St Albans Hurricane Room (All tables reclothed)
Date - Saturday 19th Mayl 2012
Draw - Done in advance at T9B event
First Matches – 09.30am (later matches will be given were possible to players travelling a long distance)
Entry numbers - Max 32 double chance spaces
Entry Fees - £55 for catagory -3 players
                    £45 for cateagory -2 and -1 players
                    £37 for Catogory 0, +1 and +2 players

***HANDICAPS***
Pro players will start each game off -3
Ex Pro players will start each game off -2
Top Amateurs will start each game off -1
everyone else will start each game off 0, +1 or +2

Prize money will begin at the Quarter Final stage and will be announced once entry numbers are known. The Winners prize will be around £500 based on 32 entries, bearing in mind you could be in the Final twice and take the runners up prize too...

This comp has truly unbeatable value.

Remember... IF YOU ENTER TWICE YOU CAN GET INTO THE PRIZE MONEY TWICE!!

All Matches will be Straight Knock-out

Races to - 7 plus Handicaps
Breaking - Alternate, 3 point Rule, Golden Breaks allowed

Rack em High
3 Point Rule
Golden Breaks Allowed

Feed back from previous events using this format has been so good its back for a second year!!!

Who will become Total9ball Champion Of The South 2012???

We advise you don’t delay your entry as The Championship Of East Anglia Filled in under 6 hours!!!!!

This is a Pay in advance tournament as the draw is done a week before so that match times can be given and a tournament match schedule can be made.

Nearly half the field is full. Get your names down guys, This event always gets great feedback and with all table recently being reclothed it should be another fantasic event. As soon as event is full the draw can be done and match times can be given. If you win Both sides and become the Ulitimate Champion you will win a minimum of £750 based on 32 players

The Draw for this event will be made at the amateur series event on 12th May and match times will be scheduled on Sunday 13th May. still 16 spaces left come on get your names down a great days pool, handicaps to level the playing the field and good oportunity to earn some serious prize money. based on 32 entries it will be £500+ to the winner and remember you can get in the prize money twice so possible £750/£800 up for grabs, Prize money also begins in the Quarter Finals
