Put Alex McElhatton in please.
Surely the category 3 should be +2 though. Any category 3 versus 4 giving just 1 start 17 is a massive favourite

Saying that cat 3 +3, cat 4 +5, cat 5 +7 is probably the fairest.
Just to clear it up, if a cat 4 drew a cat 5 would it start 6-4 and race to 21 or 2-0 race to 21?

£100 bit steep in it , especially in a race to 21 favours the better player everytime

U had a handicap comp last week short races that was for a tenner and not 100 because that favoured everybody if not a lesser player

HOW IT WORKS If your a cat 2 player you play off level, cat 3 = +3 cat 4 = +5 cat 5 = +7 9BALL RACE TO 21
The handicap would be if a cat 3 player drew a cat 4 player, ie the cat 4 player would be 2-0 up race to 21

its a good idea in princable but im thinking the race 15 with those starts would be fairer cos theres no way a level 5 will win 14 racks off a level 2

Its possible they can win plus they might not draw a level 2, but recent results show lower cat players can win races to 21, ie sam hirst 21-8 aganst yourself, and barry briggs beat sam hirst 21-16 getting 7.

Wont happen course it can for sure the players who have entered so far all prefer double/elim and im sure before any one else enters they will be sure too.
