T9B Amateur 9Ball Masters

Date:- Saturday 17th March
Venue:- St Albans Hurricane Room
Club Opens:- 10am
Matches Begin:- 10.30am
Rules- 3 Point Rule used with Alternate Breaks
Entry:- £35
Format:- Swiss System 2 lives each to last 16 – KO from last 16
Races to:- 9
Prize money:- Last 16 £20 Winner £250 (half the field get a pay out)
Handicaps system:- 0, +1, +2, +3 and +4 (depending on standard)

The way this event will work

**Random draw for first matches**
**The draw for match two will be based on the results in match one e.g if you win your first match you will be paired against another winning player**
**if you lose your first match then you will be paired with another player who also lost there first match... this will be a knock-out match as the loser will have lost his/her two lives.**
***If you lose you first match you must win 2 matches in a row to advance to the Knock-out stage. If you win your first match you must then win one of your next 2 matches to advance to the Knock-out stage*** All Players that reach the Knock-Out stage will recieve prize money (Based on 32 players)

In the Knock-out stage the four undefeated players will be seeded in the four quarters of the draw, players ranked 5th to 16th will be randomly drawn around the 4 seeds.

Prize money will begin in the last 16 (If 32 entries). This event is designed to give all players good practice, great value for money and a good chance to at least make some of there entry fee back.

The T9B Amateur Masters is limited to 32 players,

Anymore players? close to the target 16, get your names down be a good days pool on the newly clothed tables. Also good practice your any players involved in The Rookie comp the following weekend.

This event now has 16 players and will therefore go ahead anymore entries? can players on the list just confirm there attandance
