I had previously used this over my old tap marks and they worked very well but were not perfect!
I have now had a table re-covered and put them on without tapping it first and the rack is perfect every time! Also if a ball rolls over them it doesn't deviate at all...
Just wondering what people think about them??
IMO - Much better than the magic rack as there is no messing around moving it after the break

Not sure about plans for gb9 next year, obviously a 10 ball event which is racked low so magic racks all year round? Or maybe slug doctor and peel off for the 10 ball event sounds good? I agree that slug doctor makes more sense but if your playing 8/9/10 14.1 etc its no good for me...

We tried them in our club and they do work great at first, unfortunately they didn't take long to start peeling off though. I have had my magic rack for two years now and it's still as good as the day I bought it.

I don't know much about them. Do they fit to the table and stay on permanently? Be aware that GB9 swap the tables around each event and break from the other side.

It's just my opinion but over the course of a weekend i don't think they would move then you could just peel them off after each event and it leaves no marks on the table, also you can just add a few for the 10 ball event, our table is only 3 days old but we have been on it all the time, they don't peel off and are still racking perfect every time...

After watching last night I retract my support for the magic rack Buy the way anybody know why they were using a 10 ball magic rack?

The commentators said there must be a fault with the magic rack because the balls should all fall into place perfectly. But in my experience (and I use one around 100 times a week!) the magic rack just helps you get a perfect rack but you still need to massage the balls into position so they are touching. This is a skill and, no disrespect to the referees, but usually referees are not so good at it as the players are. I still think the magic rack is great for players playing in their local club and wouldn't be without mine. Slug Doctor looks interesting though. The main downside I can see is that it's a bit more permanent so less easy to cart around with you from venue to venue. Also 9 ball and 10 ball ae racked in different positions these days so that also creates a problem. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2011-12-09 12:34 ]

You would think i am part of the slug doctor sales team here! I really don't see how carrying it around is a problem, the stickers can be moved as you get a pack of 200 when you buy and can re-order just the stickers. Lee will you be at mmtv? I'll bring mine and you can borrow it to try if you like?
