Yes, send the cue ball off 11 rails and stop it on top of a one dollar bill... That's the tie-break shot for the Artistic Pool Championships... We've got the full 40* shot programme for you to download for free, here... http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/article.php?sid=1780Remember that you saw it at Pro9 first! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2011-11-09 14:44 ]

That's only 8 rails Dave - 9 if it stops on the rail near the dollar bill

It's eight OR nine, they've even numbered the ninth rail in the diagram. "Objective Tied players will get 1 attempt to shoot the cue ball 8 or 9 cushions in diagram pattern to dollar bill. The player that lands his or her cue ball closest to the center of the dollar bill wins this challenge. Table judge decision is final."It's easier to do it 9 rails as the ninth rail helps kill the last bit of pace off the ball, as the last two rails have natural check side on them. p.s. I've fixed the link for the download! Doh! *Edit: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I put 11 rails! I see the problem now! I thought I wrote 9 rails. LOL Sorry, that must be because I like to REALLY challenge myself, not play the simple 9 rail version! LOL Darn, I guess I can't just edit that heading now! My failure to count will be there for everyone to see - FOREVER! LOL If I send you a souvenir mug do you promise never to tell anyone? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2011-11-09 15:22 ]

Download it and read it later if you like, but I really think this is an opportunity not to be missed - because in my opinion, studying and understanding how these shots are played increases your knowledge and enjoyment of the game, and you never know when that insight gained might come in useful. http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/article.php?sid=1780[ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2011-11-10 10:14 ]
