Not when 9 and 10 ball are both pretty much the same game. If I see 'multi discipline' I'm thinking a rotation game (be it 9/10 or 15 balls), 14.1 and One Pocket or Banks. They are different disciplines that require different knowledge and skill sets.
9ball and 10ball play out the same way other than the call shot and a little more safety in 10ball. A good 9ball player will play 10ball to the same standard because the skill sets and knowledge required to play well are identical. Different game? Sure it is, but not a different discipline in my humble opinion.

I wouldn't pipe up about this normally because I'm all for new ideas in tournaments, but I do find it really sad that the UK Pool scene chooses to ignore proper games like 14.1 in the mainstream. Games like Rotation, One Pocket and Banks are virtually unplayed over here and it's a shame because so much fun can be had learning the new games and the nuances within each one.
