Rack 2 (Peach 1 - 0 Gomez) Race to 17

Peach breaks - 2ball drops - Clear shot on the 1ball with a nice open table.

Peach runs a fairly simple table to make it:

2 - 0

Rack 3 (Peach 2 - 0 Gomez) Race to 17

Peach breaks - 3ball drops - almost scratches - clear but awkward shot on the 1ball.

Daryl plays a fantastic shot and has position on the 2 ball. He makes a silly mistake and leaves the 2ball over the pocket.

Gomez returns to the table and runs out quite easily to make it:

2 - 1

Rack 4 (Peach 2 - 1 Gomez) Race to 17

Gomez breaks - 1ball, 2ball drop - 8ball blocks the path to the 3ball. Gomez elects to push out, leaving Daryl the option to take a long shot to nothing, play safe, or pass the table back. Daryl does the latter.

Gomez plays a good safety leaving Peach no option but to jump, which he executes perfectly, potting the 3ball.

Peach then misses a long 4ball.

Gomez returns to an easy table, but surprisingly snookers himself on the 6ball. Gomez jumps, pots, almost scratches, but luckily lands okay.

Gomez misses the 7ball on a shot to the side pocket.

Daryl misses a long 7ball by a couple of inches.

Gomez accepts the gift and clears the table to make it:

2 - 2

Both players now starting to look under pressure in only the 4th rack!

Very intense already.

Rack 5 (Peach 2 - 2 Gomez) Race to 17

Gomez breaks - 3ball, 6ball drop - 9ball gets sent up to bottom rail - Gomez plays a good safety on the 1ball.

Daryl returns to the table and attempts a kick-combination but hits the 1ball too thick.

Both players enter a safety battle with Daryl coming out on top after playing a fantastic thin cut on the 1ball to pot it.

Daryl clears the table, making a 4/8 combination on the way. The score is now:

3 - 2

Rack 6 (Peach 3 - 2 Gomez) Race to 17

Peach breaks (from the opposite side of the table) - 3ball, 5ball, 7ball drop - No clear shot on the 1ball which is hidden behind the 2ball and 9ball in the kitchen.

Daryl pushes out, Gomez quickly passes the table back.

Daryl attempts to play safe but leaves Gomez with a relatively easy 1/4 combination which he makes.

Gomez pots the 1ball leaving bad position on the 2ball. He plays a good safety.

Daryl digs himself out but gives Gomez a clear shot on the 2ball.

Gomez looks very nervous and doesn't seem to have the speed of the table figured out just yet. But he still manages to run out to make the score:

3 - 3

Rack 7 (Peach 3 - 3 Gomez) Race to 17

Gomez breaks - 1ball, 3ball drop - Long clear shot on the 2ball.

Gomez misses the pot by 2inches.

Daryl comes to the table and makes a quick confident shot on the 2ball. He clears the rest of the rack very confidently.

4 - 3

Nice bit of commentary there by Pat Holtz... Spotting some inside English on the one-ball.

Nice shot by the bloke who played it too! :D
