Yes very well done to Andy. I didn't enjoy playing too much because I was too tired and just not with it at all but just being there for this special tournament was what it was all about. Hats off to everyone else who made the trip to support the event.

Who actually won the comp? Anyone know what the biggest amount gambled in one game was? Well done to Andy and to all those who attended and donated to a great cause.

It was a top day's pool thank you Andy. I think Darryn Walker beat our very own Ben Moore in 9-8 Baz. I think most bets were small.

I too would like to thank Andy for organising this tournament. Really enjoyable day all around, I'm sure the Leicester lads would all agree. Congratulations to Darryn on the win, top player and deserved to win by more. Also a massive thanks to Martyn Royce for refereeing the final as well. Good job everyone!

Thanks for kind words guys it really means a lot. I was very pleased with how the day went and am very grateful to everyone who made the journey. Well done to Darryn on a great win and commiserations to Ben for a valiant effort in the final. Thanks to Martyn for helping out all day and staying to the end to referee the final. I think Mark would have been very proud of us all. We raised a grand total of £575 for Macmillan Cancer Support which is pretty good going. Same time next year?
