just watched it again on sky i really felt for busta must be heartbreaking when you think you`ve won then it gets snatched away.
he knocked in a good 7 ball after over running position.got a great break in last frame but still held himself toegther well.
gutted karl got beat thought he was gonna do it when he went 4 nil up but still some achievement to get to semis on your first try.

THE TABLE IS REPORTEDLY BEING CHANGED!!!

http://sportsaddick.wordpress.com/2007/11/10/day-8-superman-soars/

"If you have read this far, and thank you all six of you who are reading, here?s the big news for tomorrow.

The tables are being swapped! In the interest of making it more of a game, seeing as how all the players seemed to have mastered the break on TV Table 1 (soft break, control the cue-ball, run out), the tournament organisers have decided to finally do something. The Main TV Table is right this very moment being dismantled, and TV Table 2 where the players have been breaking a lot harder will be the one used for the final. It will be moved over.

At the same time, the air-conditioning at the Araneta Coliseum will be kept off until 2 hours before the game, and the TV lights kept off as well. Daryl Peach has been informed, and he?s fine with that. The man from Matchroom is getting hold of Gomez?z manager to inform her about it, and I have just confirmed that Gomez is aware of the swap.

What we?d all be hoping for tomorrow is a harder break, more ball action, and an end to what the Taiwanese call the ?bird-break?. That, hopefully, should be the end of all that limp-wristed stuff that we?ve seen ALL the power breakers deliver over the past few days. Listen out for the loud cracks as we race to 17 tomorrow!"

Just to comment on the busta vs Peach match, regarding the 9 ball foul incident.

Busta knew damm well he fouled, did you see him look round at the ref as he was walking back towards his seat, he knew it was a foul, and yet he was still celebrating a victory.

Unsportmanship imho, he deserved to loose after that the cheating sod.

Just goes to show his trash technique anyway, ive always said that the see-saw cue actions arent good under pressure, all he had to do was take the 2 ball with the rest, and it was match over, but yet he stretched right over, theres not much chance in delivering the cue through in a straight line with that sort of shot.

Serves bustamante right, he got what he deserved.

If this is indeed the case then I can only think that would be in Daryl's favour. Gomez has the break down pat on that table and a more tactical game will probably suit Daryl as well, especially if his safety and tactics are as on song as they were today. Interesting.
