and your point is !!!!
my point is it probably was the correct shot under the circumstances, thats why ralf has won more titles than youve had hot dinners, easy to say he took the wrong shots after he messed up,cuesportkid agreeing with you doestn make your point valid, suppose cuesprortkid is as good as ralf or knows as much, probably criticise when youve over taken ralfs honours,if ralf would have pulled the shots off what you n cuesprotkid are saying then i suppose it would have been the correct shot pair of bangers n wannabes

well i have heard it all now
played the wrong shots and any1 who has a clue about the game will say the same !
wrong savety to leave svb the bank on to the 8 ball what was over the hole
wrong shot to put the 4 over the side
the 2 he missed what was a simple stop shot was closer to the bag when set off.
me and cuesportkid never said we was as good or said that we won more , we just stated that toward the end of that match his wheels fell off and was taking the wrong shots !
craig dixon by the way but u knew that didnt u

Can anyone explain the Hatch / Lely situation? I didn't follow why Hatch was in such a state after his game. It's a long time since this question was asked, but I've found this somewhere and it seems to explain it a bit... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hatch’s efforts saw him named as the tournament’s Most Valuable Player and the 38-year-old from Buffalo said the event was easily the highlight of his career. “I can’t explain how I feel, this is the best moment of my life,” said Hatch. “I want to thank all the fans for being here and if it was not for those guys we wouldn’t have won. “It’s the best feeling I’ve ever had and these guys are just amazing. Nothing can compare to this. I’m already thinking about the Turning Stone Classic which I have to play in three days but I won’t care if I win or lose because it won’t be as good as this. How can it compare to this? “I had no idea what to expect. I spoke to Johnny and Nick and they said it didn’t matter what you thought it would be like, it would be different. There’s so much more emotion and I’ve cried about 15 times each day. “I was short of money and my family leant me $2,000 for the flights and if it wasn’t for them then I wouldn’t be here. “To be MVP as well, I can’t believe it. I’m just in awe of the situation at the moment. My head is going to be so big, it’ll be hard for me to walk through the door! It’s just unbelievable to be part of this team and to be in the limelight with the best players in the world. “It just couldn’t have gone any better and to get the MVP and win the Mosconi Cup with my team is the best feeling in the world. “That 6-0 victory (against Niels Feijen) is the best match I will ever play in my life.” The emotional Hatch was the most vocal of the American players and at one stage screamed ‘one plus one’ at European captain Alex Lely while potting the winning 9-ball in a doubles match.
This was a direct response to Lely saying the same thing to Hatch earlier in the encounter when he had failed to notice that three balls had not gone past the headstring following the break shot.
“When he (Lely) said ‘one plus one’ I held that in for the whole match and I said to Oscar ‘we’re going to win this match’,” added Hatch.“You don’t intimidate me, I’m here to win and it was an attempt at a bit of intimidation. I even had a few European fans coming up to me saying I was over the top.” The European team included five players who had all won world titles and the defending champions were strong favourites to claim another title. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I lliked Hatch at the start, he seemed fun and really excited to be there. Then it seemed that he felt the mosconi was all about him. Im to tired to go in to to much detail, but there is being vocal and cheering your team mates on, and then there is making sure EVERYONE see's you and knows you are cheering for your team. He even gave up 5-1 down in the doubles and after Duel said "just hit and hope" hatch smiled and said, why not? and just hit it. He got nothing from it and Europe won the point. The match before Archer was 5-1 down and instead of giving up, he showed himself, his team mates and the event it self respect by trying to come back. He went on to win 6-5 and that killed Team europe. How must Archer have felt watching that from Duel and Hatch? Hatch said in a mosconi interview he would "never give up" well, erm, he kind of did. I didnt like his "one plus one" shout towards Lely. Just play pool and if you win (like he did) go hug your team mates and enjoy the win. Anyone else feel the same? Or am I being boring for not letting him have fun? ----------------- Twitter: @Darren_Foord [ This message was edited by: Dazza on 2009-12-14 23:01 ]

no he doesn't. there is no logical or legal argument why that must be the case. so there. and the talk-the-talk-walk-the-walk is just a load of school ground nonsense. unfortunately a few pillocks like you on this site revel in the pettiness of it all. a clique of bum-chums ruin this forum by dogging players who aren't in their little gang, slating players behind their backs who aren't on this forum to defend themselevs (sometimes in an incredibly vindictive and venemous manner from the safety of their homes) and telling each other how wonderful and fantastic they are. get out of each others rear ends will you. i'm not defending unique, i'm having a go at the idiots. am i over reacting? yes, but it's due to an ever present undercurrent here that winds me up. if you throw s*** expect to have a bit come back and take it like an adult when it does. offering someone a money match from the comfort of knowing you're favourite (with the pool community in the UK being small and everyone knowing each other) hardly makes you look like a big man. quite the opposite in fact. i normally try and filter out the all the bs posted by a few but occasionally i bite. also, before it gets pointed out, i'm fully aware of the irony of this post but i really don't care.
