Yeah, have fun Andy you jammy dodger! Sorry, there's no stream yet of the 9am scheduled repeat of last night's action... I'll leave it on the front page for a bit just in case if arrives soon! Fingers crossed eh? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2009-12-13 09:36 ]

Good luck to Daz and the boys, it is still possible!
Can anyone explain the Hatch / Lely situation? I didn't follow why Hatch was in such a state after his game.

9-5 down, I know we have the quality to beat them and we have had bad rolls. You would have to say though that if we did win it would be the best Mosconi Cup come back ever and would be tough to ever see a comeback like it?
At the start of yesterday I thought the tides had turned and Europe finally had some luck going their way. Anyway 9-5 it isn't over but it's a tall order and Europe could do with getting the crowd going toshout down those yanks.
Come on Europe!!!!!!!

We showed some grit and determination in first 2 matches, and the come back looked good. But then the Archer/ Hatch show arrived.....i think they have both played awesome. Even with Duell really struggling with bad nerves, Archer played near perfect pool to get the win. Hatch was the same, playing near perfect. Niels played great until the tweek at 4-5 down. Mika vs Oscar was a bad, bad match....so many mistakes and missed balls i lost count. All this talk about luck and bad luck is nonsense, the USA team has been by far the best team upto now.......all we can hope for is that they struggle to get over the winning line, and we make a lot less mistakes all round. At the end of the day they still need 2 wins, and the last one is the hardest to grab. We need to just go out there, play our own game (not thiers) and see what happens.....thats it. Dazzler.....gettin ready for Liverpool vs Arsenal.... -----------------

I'm actually feeling good about our chances today.
It's only single matches, and SVB - Ralf starts it.
If we can win the first two, anything is possible.
Imagine the nervous Corey Deuel and the rookie Oscar Dominguez playing single matches with Europe already beaten for example SVB and Archer in the singles.
That will be too much pressure on them, and I really, really, really hope that Darren Appleton will get a chance to play Dennis Hatch for the final match of the Mosconi Cup.
How sweet that would be.

No doubt the USA have played well but I do think they have got the majority of rolls. I think the rolls evened out a little more yesterday. If the rolls swing more to our side tonight who knows what can happen. If we win first 2 matches tonight I think it's very much game on and I'm confident we will.
I have every faith in you all
Come On!!!!!

i must be watching a different mosconi to you then usa have have had all the run rolls good breaks. ill agree they have played better but we havnt had no run.we`ve lost a few hill hill matches could be alot closer if we`d have won them. we just need to cut out the silly mistakes and missing silly balls.if we can win first 3 matches then think we got great chance.
come on lads

Rolls come and go. When you win it is always because you played good, when you lose it was because your opponent got lucky and had all the rolls. That's the nature of our game, isn't?

The first session, without a doubt , the USA had all the lucky rolls.
Hope this helps.

very true but they got all the run when they needed it thats helped them to win the closer games, they have played alot better and we have missed some good chances to get get closer but when you dont play well you dont get the run. just hope it changes also usa seem to be breaking alot better too we always seem to end up with no shot on next ball.

lolol......luck, bad luck and IF's.... IF i had carried on playing golf instead of pool i would have been a double millionaire by now!! IF i had missed the final 9ball in Manila i wouldnt have won the World 9ball Championships! IF.....second worst word in the aphabet.....after CANT !!! ......and come on now Mr Appleton Senior.... I dont think this years USA team have played as bad as last 2 years either....mainly because not as much presure has been put on them this year like past 2 years. ....like i said, hopefully this will change tonight, as they still have to get over the line, which wont be a stroll in the park by any means. And i am not saying our lads aint had bad luck etc, cos they have, but so have the USA team. What i am saying is that the main difference between the 2 sides is that USA have made a lot less unforced errors than Europe. ....And once again, like i have already said......hopefully this will change tonight....fingers crossed! Dazzler....doesnt wear blinkers. ps. Liverpool Vs Arsenal not as good as last year! -----------------

day 1 we didnt show up..all bit tight and losing team match was sickner for us all as we gave that point away..
ive played archer 3 times and lost 6-5 3 times on another day i coulkd have won all 3 with a little bit luck.. or at least 2 of them or maybe one of them.. he definatley got the rolls in the singles from 5-1 down but yes he played great too and for me he been by far the best player in mosconi cup..
5-5 in my singles he got 2 big rolls ..plus the fact from me been 5-1 up i never got a open shot after that
doubles yesterday they made more mistakes than me and toastie and got a big slice of luck at 5-5 when corey miss hit his safe...and me and toastie battled hard in that match and played solid and made some crucial shots and was unlucky in last rack or rather them very lucky ....
they have probably played a little better than us especially archer but they have bit more luck at right times in matches and bit more luck on the breaks... i admit i probably been the weakest breaker in team europe but only ball have chopped in tournament is a 8ball in very first team match.. besides that i cant recall missing a ball maybe a tough 3 ball down rail agaoinst archer at 1-0 up..
hatch got a bunch of rolls against fiejen from 4-2 down and fiejen had a cruel break at 4-3 when cue ball kicked twice into top pocket 5-3 4-4 big difference..
mika the only one for me in team europe thats been right off his game ,but his fighting hard for the team and showed lot of heart yesterday...
ralf yesterday was simply awesome and where looking for him today to get us of to a great start .. if he does we a chance
we will prob go ralf first fiejen then ralf again..
win these we great chance!
yesterday we won the session 3-2 but for us the whole team we felt we deserved at least 4-1 as we out played them and showed lot of spirit and heart.. similar to what they did on day one and rightly got there 4-1 lead..
day 2 to lose was just wrong 3-1 that session .. 2-2 min that should have been..
yesterday 3-2
8-6 we would be very confident but this could easily be 7-7..
but whats happened as happened its 9-5.. we take one ball at a time and one match at a time..its essential we get the first point if we do we a chance
thanks for messages from everyone back in uk
