Great news Lee Rigby's streaming services will again be available for the Grand Finals of this Amateur series. T9B have this all booked and confirmed with Lee as he did such a fantastic job for the Grand Finals of the 2012 season. The entry numbers are up for this first event of the 2013 series, a beautiful glass trophy for has now been order for the winner of event 1. Im really looking forward to this brilliant series to begin. Anybody who fancies competing this weekend T9B have a National Series event in Solihull but entry for this event closes at 7pm this evening (Friday 25th Jan) Thanks [ This message was edited by: wildman147 on 2013-01-25 09:03 ]

Hi everyone,
I am a complete novice here. I would like to join the series. Is it still possible to join? And when exactly is the day for the first event because I saw 2nd, 3rd and 9th of February. And also, how do I know how many handicaps I would get? Thanks guys.

Hi there my names Phil thanks for your enquiry, The dates you have put are two different events listed below. 2nd and 3rd Feb - Solihull Rileys National Series 9th Feb - Hurricane Room St Albans Amateur Series
Which of these events would you like to enter? or both? You will be put on a handicap for your first event and your results will be looked at to form you a proper handicap for your second event
Thanks

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT As we build up for the 2013 T9B Amateur Series here is a little insight into some of the players entered into this event along with my prediction for there chances (just my opinion) Bradley Parker – Bradley Parker is an ex GB9 professional and is making his return to 9ball action at this T9B event, Brad is a very naturally talented player who plays with a I'm not bothered look, I believe his only down fall is that he has been out of the game for some years. Prediction- I think Brad will win a few matches in this event but can be a big danger to all if he finds he old 9ball form Tom Staveley – Tom Staveley in my opinion is the most improved player at T9B. He attended the very first event and looked very nervous and new to the game, since then Tom has really been putting the hours on the practice table and has had some good wins on MMTV in Wakefield. Tom is yet to win a T9B event but his results are improving and I think he can achieve some great results this season. Prediction – I think Tom will win a few matches in this comp but I believe he will have his best season yet overall Ramesh Gokhul – Ramesh Gokhul is the most prolific winner of T9B events taking 9 titles so far, Ramesh is a top player when under pressure and never seems to give up. This will be Ramesh's last event for a while as he will be off touring the United States again Prediction – I think Ramesh will reach the Quarter Finals of this Event Dean Mazerel – Dean Mazerel is one of T9B's top talents, Dean is however yet to win a T9B which is a big surprise to me as he knows the game from back to front and is a great potter. Dean seems to take a few events to hit top form but I think if he stays focused and comes to all the events there is no reason he cant achieve some great results and maybe win an event. Prediction – I think Dean will reach the Quarter Finals of this event Glenn Cooney – Glenn Cooney is a very solid player who achieves some top results at GB9 events, Glenn hasn’t attended many T9B events which is a shame as he always seems to play well and could easily make the prize money at most events. Prediction – I think Glenn will reach the Quarter Finals of this event Jonathan Vaughan – Jonathan Vaughan came from nowhere in 2012, he was the unknown player who became a big name at T9B. Jonathan had 3 reasonable tournaments to qualify for the Grand Finals in 2012 but shocked everyone by winning the Grand Finals to be crowned 2012 Amateur Champion. Jonathan is a machine at the potting side of the game Prediction – I think Jonathan will reach the Quarter Finals of this Event Courtney Symons – Courtney Symons in my opinion is one of the best amateur players in the UK, Courtney won a few T9B events last season aswell as a GB9 event. He is always there or thereabout in events and certainly someone players like to avoid in the draw. Currently in Thailand and doing very well I believe based on Facebook updates. Prediction – I think Courtney will reach the Semi Finals of this event Al Coton – Al Coton hasnt been to that many T9B events which is a shame as he is a top player and more than capable of doing some real damage in this series of events. Al has a very cool attitude around the table and doesn’t make many mistakes... he is a tough player to beat Prediction – I think Al will reach the Semi Finals of this event Chris Buckmaster – Chris Buckmaster doesn’t seem to ever have a bad event, he's always involved at the latter stages of comps... im surprised he hasn’t won more events as he has a great cue action and always looks focused and determined to win, Chris has won 5 T9B titles in all but none last season Prediction – I think Chris will reach the Final of this event Luke Rollison – Luke Rollison in my opinion is one of the most talented players who comes to T9B events, when on form he is a danger to any player, I think Luke under achieves at T9B events and his results could be better but if Luke turns up in the winning frame of mind there aren’t many players who could stop him. Prediction – I think Luke will win this event [ This message was edited by: wildman147 on 2013-01-27 23:45 ]

Hi Phil, Could you send me the bank detail, I can transfer the money. Also, how much is it because it depends on the handicap right?

All players are required to confirm there spots either by paying there entry fee or at least leaving me a message here or a pm to say your 100% coming and will pay on the day including the extra £5 for this option. We have to cap this event to 50 players. To guarentee we get the £50 spaces are now available on first paid first in as i think we could get 70 players so I dont want the event to not be as good as it could be by turning away paying players and keep players on the list who may not show up. So if you want to guarentee your place you need to pay in advance or at least give me a payment date. The draw will be done for this great event on Sunday

Luke Rollison to win?!?! Depends how hung over he is and if he keeps drinking throughout the comp. The guy is a machine. No offence Luke (you know its the truth).
