This event is now just over two weeks away and i peronsally cannot wait. A strong field of players and some new faces which is great to see. The beautiful glass trophy has been ordered but who will lift it as the Winner? Symons? Lunn? Gokhul? Rollison? Singleton? to name a few of the favourites or will it be an in form outsider? Mark Parker? Wayne Rooke? David Hood? Will somebody be the first to do the double by taking the Winner prize and the runners up money? all questions will be answered soon.

I'm really looking forward to this event too Phil. Can't wait to do battle with some of the best amateurs in the country.

I saw you won an English pool comp recently so a man in form. Will the trophy go to the North or stay in the South?

Dream situation take out the top 4 prizes. Your right tho Mark S it's a strong field and with small handicaps a good start is needed and lots of stamina as you know from winning the Rookie. Club has changed a lot since then 2

Fancy a money match after the comp mark? Not quite the sort of money we were talking about before but something to make it interesting.

Never do well in comps, just a southern chopper! Usually the final is done by 7/8ish, would be worth staying longer for a few bucks don't you think? We could always have a game instead?

I've not played since the last comp I entered of Phils so I wouldn't fancy playing anyone for cash at minute especially not yourself, don't mind admitting ur too good for me. Will have to see wot happens on the day but I'm just looking forward to a bit of tournament play

Luke this one may go on later as extra entries, but the club is 24 hour so there will be an opportunity to play a cash game if you can find someone to play.
