Thank you to everyone who supported this event and thanks also for the feedback. I am always keen to try out different formats for events and as Dave says in his article this gruelling format certainly sorted the men from the boys.

Well done to Kevin Uzzell with a well deserved win and also to Damian as runner-up.

I took some pics of the finalists which hopefully Dave will put up later.

Thanks again and hope to see you all soon at another event.

Andy.

PS thanks to Caroline Walch for letting me win the poker :-)

Unlucky Caroline!

Good event, lots of fun but physically demanding and the room was real hot all day.

Well done to Riggers for winning the plate, special well done to Tony David who overcame massive odds and didn't fancy his chances, yet got to the third group stage.....nice one mate.

Biggest upset....well you have to feel sorry for Shotgun in the 2nd group stage having 2 wins and not going through due to rack difference...its got to hurt. Unlucky pal.

A good day and a good event, glad I was there.

Phew! Busy day for me... I've just finished messing with the London event photos, and I'm starting on the Solihull photos right now!

It was a great event, I especially enjoyed losing my money to Caroline at the poker!

:D:D:D

oh, and another super massive well done to Big Dave. How many people would cover 2 events in one day with a 300 mile round trip? Awesome going big fella.

Thanks for the compliment Si, I felt a bit fortunate to get through though Mind you I think I was a bit unfortunate in last group stages, won 3 and still didn't qualify! Congratulations to Kevin and Damian though.
