Cheers Baz for a well run event, see you on the next one mate, thoroughly enjoyed the day and good to see some old faces again.. well played Andy for dumpin me with a 10-9 score line lol...could do with some better lighting over them tables though... good luck to all still in it...

The winner of the 2013 event was Kev Simpson, beating Al Coton 5-2, after agreeing to split money and play for the spare tenner. Kev won £130, Al won £120, and the semi finalists Dave Evans and Tony Fry each won £65. I won the plate beating Ian McCormick 11-5 in the final and won £40. Thanks to the people who showed up to play or indeed watch in the event. I'll be looking to run events with similar formats every 2 months or so if I get the nod to do so! Needs to be more pool in the midlands and up north. If I can do my part alongside Keith I'm happy to help

I'd be happy to come to the club and play the odd event as long as i'm not at work. I'm definitely in favor of the longer races especially if it's single elimination. 15 or 21 is good with me....
