Unlucky Craig, looks like Ronan played a blinder towards the end.

Ronan always has a huge wedge on himself when he plays btw.

Big 9 ball matches in the UK are rare and it's a lot to do with the bigger players not wanting to play each other, the margins are too small between win and lose so the value becomes less and the risk is high. After Daz played Tommy Donlan for a total pot of £16K, we haven't really had anything else of that size. Understandably, players don't want to rush into a match with Daz.

Ever tried counting £16K in crumpled fivers and tenners? It took me forever but I had a smile on my face when I did it :-)

Maybe one day in this country it can happen again :)

Daz v SVB/Bustamante/Reyes/Strickland. I really hope it can happen at some point. SVB puts himself about all the time I don't get why the others don't.

SVB has a multi-millionaire backer......that helps.

What a game of pool both players was brilliant and both showed balks of steel.. We all knew that Ronan was a class act before the game and he proved it though out the game.. Wadd was class and was never fazed at any stage.. The difference in the match came down to 8-10 dry breaks from wadd in second half of match.. As wadd started to break dry ronans break came alive.. Wadd defo gave Ronan a scare and impressed a few more..

Think wadd missed 1 open ball all game Ronan missed about 5..

That's pool and the match was played in a great sprit though out with both sets of fans giving it there all.. I think there could be a re-match..

Well played both fantastic match!!
