Don't worry quags Luggsy had to explain it to me too. Basically an hypothetically of course! if I'm a 10 and you're a 7 then in a match I have to get to 10 before you reach 7. so all games will play off levels and race to their handicap.

id like to see how many of these level 2 players would pull out of unhandicapped tournaments with big entry fees if darren brought about 20 level 1 players over for a few tournaments lol cant see craig dixon turning up for that then n wastin hard earned cash n thats just going up 1 level, so imagine how level 5 players feel jumpin up to play level 2 players ( jump of 3 levels which is 3 times worse) , might as well burn cash.

Who mentioned big entry fees lol, unless your classing 20/40 entry fees as big entry's
I've paid 100 to enter events with Appleton/hill/Morris/Potts in at English 8 ball
Reason the 5 12 handicap is good n still lower cat players moan, priceless

40 pound is a lot of money to some people eric, especially when its gunna be wasted. all types of players should have an incentive to enter comps hence the handicap system is fairer, although i guarantee a the same old top players will be there n thereabouts at business end of tournament which will show that the handicaps arent big enough

Can someone point out to me where a big entry tournament was put on and supposably top players(cat 2) were slagging lower cats off for not entering.

Why wouldn't a level 2 player play in a 5 12 handicap tourney,it's a fair reflection on players ability
