6 top pros in a field of 21. This is gonna be tough for the bandit to make it 3 out of 3 at Mickeys tourneys :)

Just had a look at the format again - single elim races to 7 looks like it could be over in a flash Rich, especially with just 21?

Its a shame to see people pull out just 2 days before an event. But regardless of the numbers these are always great events at Mickeys - great atmosphere, decent tables and well run.

Chris - re the races to 7 some people will be off -4 and some on -2 (and will often still be favs to win) so will effectively be racing to 9 or 11. Don't want it to finish to late then maybe I'll have time to play the final this time lol

yes chris and tony but each match will be best of 2 sets, a bit like the champion of champions format if its one set each then match will be decide by sudden death one rack shoot out

each set will be first to 11 with (0-4) handicaps

plate comp, break n dish comp, one rack shoot out, bacon sarnies, so enough going on i hope

Well if you had an emergency house move and had to choose either between a comp or a money game where you are 50/50 or better, what would you choose? What do you want me to tell my wife, sorry I cant move out because I have a pool comp to go to...I'm lucky shes giving me her blessing to play a money game at all let alone go to a comp on top of it.

Its ashame because MF is easy to get to and only costs £16 return on train so its the best non-local comp for me to go to...

Can't believe I have to justify myself on here for something out of my hands! :(
