Shall be there for 11. Got to drive up from Essex so be an early one for me. I'll be bringing my set of balls so that makes it at least 4, by my count.

looking forward to this event.

whens the draw cueman, is it open draw for the groupes ?

Hi the 10 "pro's" (see page 1) will be seeded into 10 groups and other players will then be drawn at random. I will do the draw using an independant volunteer on Wednesday at the weekly comp I run.

Does anybody have experience of running a book who would volunteer to organise?

Somebody has just asked me for directions, so I thought I would post for everybody to see. He is coming from Nottingham but apply to anybody coming on the M42.

Get off at J6 (A45) and turn right follow signs for Birmingham.

Just keeop straight for about 5 mile (past total petrol, airport, cargo port, texaco petrol station) until you come to a big set of lights on a massive gantry over the dual carriageway. Turn Left and go straight for about 3/4 mile (across 1 small island) and then just follow signs for "Ice Rink".

Club is above the icerink and there is a massive car park around the back. To get to carpark drive past the ice rink and thwe BP garage next door and take the first right then turn right at the Fitness First into the carpark.

IS the car park a pay and display one? Does anybody know how much this will be for all day if it is?

I thought that being seeded as pro would help because you would avoid the best players in your group but looking at the field there's just as much talent in the non pro list too so it doesn't make much difference. As always the best plan of action is to turn up with your A game and see where it takes you.

On the other hand if your A game is like diamond's you could maybe do something else on Sunday... I've heard there's some nice walks in your part of the country Si. :D
