still time to change teams if your not happy with who you got, you must agree the field is class and makes the event more prestigious

imo you should have stuck to 1 pro per team, fair few teams entered this with that ruling and could have made stronger teams, the teams entered late on has an advantage beacuse can choose who they want with no restrictions,be a great event anyway, just 1 pro per team evens it up alot

I totally agree with you Eric, I could have stuck with my original 3 man team consisting of Shane, ben finch and I if the 1 pro rule wasn't there.

your team was one i was thinkin about, you shane n ben,im not knockin jonny coop cos he is a great player but would be harsh as frank uck if he was told he wasnt needed and you went back to your original team

agree andy its a great event and be awesome to play in,i just personally the earlier temas entered would have chosen a diff team with the new criteria, prob arfan would have gone melling in his team aswell as prob shane daz n ben,ah well done now, good luck

Can it just be clarified that this is a straight KO and not a groups/round robin thing please?

I don't think he's changed that. When he first posted he didn't say how he was defining pro then subsequently he did i.e. he'll use his judgement. So he hasn't really changed anything - just clarified it ;)

As I said in an earlier post it's no good just using GB9 pro division listing because some in the top 20 are clearly not pro standard, I stuffed Mr. Mathers a few weeks ago for example so does that make me pro standard? You either need to specify a clear and more sensible way of working out who is pro or do what Andy has done and leave it to the organisors judgement.

We won't all agree with the organisors judgement but equally any criteria you may apply could throw up silly anomolies too.

True riggers you are correct, Arfan i did tell ben if he wanted toplay in your team he could, I just think it was the best way to run this event, And im sure looking at the field it seems to have worked out.

I rate my team as probably the 5th or 6th best on paper.......there are 3 teams in there that are way better (on paper) than the rest. But to be honest, if all the teams were equal it would be boring.
Anyway, for me that's part of the buzz.........drilling a team who is supposed to beat you!
......but I would be very surprised if either Kev Uzzells, daz Appletons, or Adam Smiths team don't win it......but that's just my thought, and what do I know!

.......really looking forward to this event!

;-)
