I remember him last year rambling on about his entire family and life history, before bringing his dog out (and basically interviewing the thing) even let it lose on the table I think.. Didn't half talk some tripe for a good half hour before any mention of a final about to happen hahaha what a guy!!

I wouldn't say Ortmann. I would have thought Niels.

Just seen this statement from Barry Behrman.
Barry Behrman Makes Statement About U.S. Open Prize Fund

It is with regret that I have to announce that due to a lack of seating (that I admit I did not properly envision) that I am having to delay the prize payments to my top 6 finishers at the U.S. Open. Shannon and I had many extra expenses this year such as building the wooden risers for the seats, and that along with the large storm that forced many to leave the event early caused a major problem with our receivables. We were unable to provide proper seating for many fans and this caused us to come up between $20-30,000 short of our projections in the $10 all day and $10 all night ticket category alone. This was a major source of the shortfall. Another source is my insistence on adding the full $60,000 that I promised to add prior to having the difficulties explained above.

We expect all debts to be covered within the next two weeks. We still have sufficient revenues coming in from the event and will pay the money out as quickly as it comes in.
Finally, we hear you and agree with you. Next year we will be in one big room for the whole tournament again. It just works better for everyone and we have learned from our mistakes.

Why does BMW hide behind a screen name? Pathetic. If you want to just post stuff to iritate people and stir up trash you could at least have the balls to put your name against your posts. Most of your posts are absolutely pathetic and childish in my opinion.

why would the above post irritate people?
its just a question about the us open and i was wondering if anyone could clear it up, i never asked any names i just wanted to know if the rumors were true.
last time i checked forums are for asking questions and debates about pool related matters.

hiding behind my username? not really i just pop on every now and then to follow certain players results in events. there is really no point in posting my esername as i never been to an event and only my friends will know who i am.
so rigger (who ever you are) before branding someone "pathetic" have a think as you may not know the person who you are calling and it could land you in trouble

can anyone please tell me when the next big event is please?? is it the mosconi?

Good god, I see Stalinism is still alive and well. Why on earth do you think someone has to stand up and say who they are to ask a simple question? Have you any idea how dangerous that philosophy is?

Why is it 'pathetic' and 'childish' to ask about a punch-up between two Brits at the American Open, which, in itself, is, er, 'pathetic and childish'. It would be more useful to concentrate on the act, rather than the questions afterwards.

The next event in the UK is GB9 in Daventry this weekend.

incidentally, Riggers' attitude towards me, in which he demanded to know my name after I pointed out a failure in his scoring system, is the very reason I'll not be joining the tour - now or ever. His god-complex is disturbing.

I'll PM you with where you can find the answers to your perfectly reasonable questions.
