Tony, I wish you'd cut and paste your summing up of your match against Jouni Tahti here.. It sounded really heartfelt and I'm sure sharing it here would ring a lot of bells with everyone.

Here you go Dave / warts and all !! -Got whitewashed 7-0 by Jouni Tähti in 9 ball QF, in fact I think I did it for him, missed a long half ball 9 in rack 1, a positional shot on 8 in rack 2 and a 9 virtually over the bag in rack 3, full of nerves, no balls etc. In rack 5 he broke dry, I played a push out, he called foul as only the breaker can push out, but i'm sure thats how we were doing it all week, he did me on 3 fouls, i'm sitting there 5-0 down, thinking how am I not 4-1 up, as he only had to pot more than 3 balls in 1 rack.

I was ready to throw in the the towel at 5-0, and it got worse, missed straight 3 ft shots in rack 6 and 7, one so bad we were both laughing !!, heads gone, unreal how bad i have played this week, don't even deserve the 1 medal i got. where is the player who beat Jouni in semi of 9 ball last year, or even the one who won the first BWWPA event of season only a few weeks ago.

Really feel like jacking it all in !!

a few weeks off, then I think it time to retire this cue and try the new Ikon 2 that Predator have sent me, and try to refocus.

I am still typing this hoping that I will wake up in a minute and its all been a nightmare !! I'll pinch myself, oh bugger that hurt and it was real !!

Thanks for all the support, sorry to have been such a let down to everyone, but most importantly to myself, i'm truly disgusted with myself !!
