Few shocks this weekend, great weekend of pool, and 17 players is amazing. I'd also like to point out that at the first event in Birmingham that was hit with herrendous weather we had 14 players. A few regulars were missing also Matt Duffy, Danny Luton, Shaun Madin and Graham McClounnan should have been there. Also Fred Dinsmore wasn't there.

It was great to welcome back Alexander Prokopiev from Russia and Lescjek from Poland.

Roll on the Kamui Shootout back at Escape in Barnsley 20/21st July

I enjoyed watching the action for a few hours Saturday. I wish I could have stayed longer but had family committments.

Well done Roy and unlucky Aslam.

And what a great Job Al John does at these events. Unsung hero if ever there was one.

I have won BWPPA Wheelchair 9-ball Pool Challenge Cup 2013.

I had ball in hand, image snooker table between the pink & black spots in the middle, there were No# 7 ball, front of 9 ball, near the corner pocket about 15ins away was 4 ball, then I placed the cue ball between the corner pocket & 4 ball. I made a combination shot to get the 4 ball to hit the 9 ball, 9 ball hit the 7 ball & 9 ball went in another side of corner pocket & the rest of the balls was all over the place on the table with doubles kissed & cue ball managed to stay on the table as I hit it so hard. It wasn't easy shot, but it was a fantastic planned & magnificent finish in brilliant style.

I shouted out so loud 'C'MON...!', raised my arms up'n'down so fast & punch in the air with my hand.

A few pics from this event on my Flickr site. Not many I'm afraid as there were only 4 matches playing while I was there and I couldn't stay long.
