Tony Weafer does a great job, you can catch him at the 147 club in Leicester.

Adam shaw does very good job but he's in the states until January. Chris Hall and Mark Lunn both do a good job too!

Haha Benji you little tinker...

Yes it's true I don't do tips anymore. Daz was into crushed Elk but they are so inconsistent and then crushing them just the right amount is a bit of a guessing game too so it became a lottery as to whether you would get a good one.

Thankfully Daz has moved on to Kamui, which is a much better choice in my opinion. To do a good job on these you really need an expert with a good lathe. With Adam Shaw being out of the country I would say Les Boyd would be your best bet. He does a very nice job.

I think i would like it put on with a lathe this guy Les Boyd sounds really good would he have tips already or would i have to take him one? Riggers is he from your way? if so do you think you could give me some details and i could come up after GB9 and get it done and maybe have a knock while i'm up for the day

I've just been in touch with Les and unfortunately he's got problems with his lathe so he can't do it. As others mentioned above I believe Mark Lunn does a good job.

BTW as a former long time user of Moori soft I can recommend Kamui Black Soft. Feels similar but plays more consistent and is much less prone to shining and miscues. Moori's are high maintenance.

I have a lathe type system Darryn, made by myself and my good father :) I will do it for you mate, or if you ask Chris Hall nicely he may be able to do it for you at Vegasbar "while 'u' wait" but I'm not sure how long they usually take him... We have a tourney on this Sunday, you could come play in the tourney and get someone up here to do it for you?
