When I read this title on the home page my first thoughts were "eye eye he is listening, a decent" comp so when I clicked the thread to stick my name down I see the word HANDICAP.
Not for me ...... Good luck with the event tho

Stick me in please Andy and could you please put player's handicaps in brackets next to their names, think that would help in getting more entries as players know what they're up against.

A true 12-5 handicap event should be decided on the day as the best player should be a 12 and the worst a 5. Not say for example Arfan is a 10 and Chris an 11. If the best player on the day is Chris he should be 12. I know its harder to work that way though.

Rubbish DRM the 5 12 handicap is what it is,say for example if Chris is a 10 why should he be put to 12 on the day, does this mean if a 7 rated player be put to a 9

When comps with the 5 12 handicap get put together,if the lesser players don't enter with start then 9 ball will falter, lesser players want to make there own comps up because they do t want to play better players and improve,be interesting In future with these comps if many enter,no reason whatsoever why all standards shouldn't enter, handicapped boys handicapped

How can you say lesser players run their own comps because they don't want to play better players?? That's the reason I play GB9 and most of the other tournaments I can play in! To play better players and improve... It was good to play in the one I did other day as you know you have a more realistic chance of winning! Especially at £100 a man. It was a one off tournament arranged between a small party and all players seemed satisfied.
