Anyone have any ideas where I could pick one of these up from in the UK?
I'm looking at experimenting with my tips and wanted to try a pressed elkmaster. Bought the Tips from Dave at the last GB9 but there isn't anything to press them with in the Pro Shop and all that I can find on ebay is ones from Hong Kong (of which i'm dubious about) and some from the US (which have ridiculous postage fee's)

I rather like the look of this one don't you? Is this the one you were looking for? Let me see if I can get one in for you. I'll let you know later today when America has woken up. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2013-08-27 12:55 ]

Yes they will come to the UK. I have these in 9mm and 10mm for snooker (specially made) and 12mm 13mm and 14mm for pool they are great items and I highly recommend them. The inventor is a chap called Joseph Picone who made the White Diamond tip people have probably heard of. Well worth investing in if you like a crushed elk or if you want to press a water buffalo tip even harder for a break cue. ----------------- [ This message was edited by: PC on 2013-08-27 15:06 ]

They're not cheap, but they come complete with both Nickel* and Dime* radius shafts (*EDIT: This is INCORRECT INFORMATION - see post below for actual specifications.) - I don't see us selling a lot of them in the 14mm version, so we've never stocked them before, but I'm getting a delivery from Joe Picone soon anyway, so it's no problem to get a few added to our order. If anyone else is interested in acquiring one of these, let me know, as the more we buy the cheaper they are. [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2013-08-27 20:31 ]

Dave just check on that as unless you are having them made specially one piston is flat face and the other is concave face........ -----------------

Oh yes, actually, you can see that in the pictures - my mistake, I'll correct the post above.
OK... I need to order a truckload of these to get a wholesale price so I'm going to be chasing a few more customers before I order them.
Any help Pro9'ers can give by putting the word out to people who want to buy a tip press will be very appreciated, as now (summer time) is not a good period for having tonnes of stock on the shelves.

I'm adding these Tip Presses to my next bulk order to come from the USA... So it's not going to be here tomorrow, it's gonna need to clear Customs and everything so we'll need to be patient - and as soon as I know the cost I'll add a listing in The Pro Shop and let you know.
