Hey all, Anyone know of a Wing-Rack that I can buy? It's the rack with just the 2 wooden sides. Thanks Rico [ This message was edited by: Administrator on 2013-06-26 15:38 ]

Why anybody ever thought it was a good idea to use a rack with three sides is beyond me!

Cant you just make one? 2 pieces of wood and a hinge, cost you £4 max. Very easy.

I suspect that it's a requirement for it to fold away in his case...

I've already spoken with Rico about this, as we used to stock these in The Pro Shop. Unfortunately I can't find any shops currently stocking the wing-rack, we used to sell it here, http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/theproshop/main.php?P=product&pid=RACK0006 of course, but we ran out of stock a long time ago. More bad news is that the official website, www.wing-rack.com, is also closed too! I guess you'll only be able to get one if you can buy one off an existing owner, or perhaps a carpenter could make you one with a couple of bits of wood and a hinge (I've even seen it work with a couple of bits of wood and a bit of rope instead of the hinge). I've just had an idea - I'll see if I can contact the original supplier and let you know mate!----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

So Shaw is the only player I've ever seen using one and he had it as of 2010. It may be an idea to try and buy his if he still has it...

Thanks guys. I could make one myself I guess. The Euro Mosconi team used mine and Johan was to busy winning so lost sight of it.
So, probably stole it off of himself and still can't find it. Raj, probably had his one nicked by So. Rico, just spoke to Peter Aprile (Spain, birthplace of the Wing-Rack) and he has one left that he'll send me yay! Amazing.

That's good news because I got an email this morning from the manufacturer who said the Wing-Rack has been discontinued.
