What is the best pool hall in England? I have played at several pool halls and I would say Barnsley Rileys known as Escape now is my favorite!

Yes Lee I agree Escape is the best. I've played a few events at Rileys Wavertree in Liverpool and that's the second best in my opinion out of clubs I've played in. Vegas Bar in Wakefield is good by all accounts but I've not played there

Morley International is a good venue. Mainly 8ball venue due to the small amount of local 9ballers, but a good pool hall all the same

Heard very good things about George's club in Barnsley, I look forward to playing there soon. Quick mention too for the hurricane rooms in St. Albans, another wry good venue where the t9b events are held

It's good to see ex Rileys sites being used and even improving the pool halls, as a lot of Rileys pool halls seem to wait until the cloth wears down to the slate before replacing.

Barnsley Riley's is top draw, good tables, very clean, spacious, looks the part,3m football screen, snooker, pool n 9 ball with plenty of tables, not sure if its in the right location imo to be here to stay,if that sort of club was over where we are it would do very well,it's crying out for it,for reasons whatever it doesn't get the custom it deserves,il leave it at that...

Here here doc. Agreed, great club just not too sure the location is perfect for a club of its size. Hope I'm proved wrong as it will be great to see the club and George do well, and of course be great for pool in Yorkshire.
