I've watched a few bonus ball matches and really like the game. I just wondered what everyone else thinks of it? Time will tell if it sticks around, has anyone else seen it? Been on the website and I do think the balls are on the expensive side to say it's a new game, I suppose you could use an ordinary set though.

I think the game is awesome, no reason you cant use odds/evens/8ball or spots/stripes/8ball. Playing to a time limit is better than this overtime stuff the game looks a lot more stripped down but it is better because of it. I hope it takes off as looks to incorporate a lot of different skillsets.

I've really enjoyed watching the matches posted online so far. When the I watched the original Johnny Archer promo some 12-18 months ago I didn't think the game had a chance but having watched it played at that standard I think it is a great game which, as Baz states, incorporates so many billiard game-types. My gripes, team kits are tacky, ball set is too expensive as Matt said and why no iPhone/iPad app score board. Surely this would reduce the need for the inbox DVD scoreboard which should bring the price of the balls down

It’s a great game and I really wish everyone at BB good luck with the new league format which starts this Thursday. At this stage I wouldn’t say I enjoy playing BonusBall any more than 9Ball or 10Ball, but certainly as much. Where I think BB is better is the structure.
The scoreboard keeps the match on track as each match has a 15 minutes time frame with a 30 sec shot clock. (no more slow play)
I believe the game will improve players banking and shot making as well as positional play.
The 3 different handicapped systems work really well and make the game more enjoyable regardless of player ability.
I believe BB are working on an ios and android app and will be releasing it shortly.

Where does the million dollars come from?! Sponsors throwing that kind of money in or are they relying on entry fees/qualifiers?? [ This message was edited by: andystoke on 2012-11-27 14:12 ]
