Hello everybody!!
I am a spanish player. I just moved to London 2 month ago and I have visited some pool halls but every one are a bit expensive.
Anybody know some Billiard, Snooker or American pool room were can pay a membership fee o something like that for training?
In Spain for example you can pay a membership fee of around 80€ per month and you can train all the hours you want.
THANK YOU.

That sounds like a great idea - I wonder if any clubs will be tempted to offer something similar? Welcome to Pro9! Providing your local Rileys are still in business, you can purchase a weekly pass for £17, which gives you unlimited play from 10-6pm every day, including weekends. I think you have to spend money at the bar as well, however.

Nice one Robbed!
Is that available just for English Pool, American Pool, or Snooker, or can you get it for all three?

Anything you like. Here's how it works: the day you buy the pass, your light stays on until 6pm, so you're fixed to the game/table you've chosen. On subsequent days, you can alternate games as you see fit.
There are downsides to this pass, however. On days 2-7, your light only comes on for one hour at a time. You then have to ask them to switch it on again, which can be a pain in if you're having a long session. They do this 'one hour blocks' thing to encourage you to spend money behind the bar, and I think you're supposed to spend a minimum of £2 every time you get the light switched back on. Whether this is rigorously enforced or not is another matter, but buying a drink or two is good manners anyway.
So that's how two people can have 40+ hours a pool a week for £8.50 each.
