Congratulations to the four players who made the grade this year... DARREN APPLETON NICK VAN DEN BERG CHRIS MELLING NIELS FEIJEN And good luck to the three tied players... OLIVER ORTMANN ALBIN OUSCHAN NIKOS EKONOMOPOULOS What do you think of the team, and which of the three do you think will be the most useful addition? Also, how do you think Team Europe compares against Team USA this year? I like both teams. Good to see Niels get in there to add some extra strength to Team Europe. It seems strange not to see Ralf but I guess there was only room for Niels or Ralf and Niels had the better season. I'd like to see Nikos get the spot but good luck to all three.
Roll on December and lets hope for fireworks in a Daz v Dennis singles clash.

Agree with Riggers, Ekonomopoulos of the 3. [ This message was edited by: The_Lunn on 2012-11-02 09:08 ]

Yeah, I wouldn't mind Nikos getting in either... I just have a soft spot for Greece and the Greeks as I spent so much time living there when I was younger... I've never met him, do you guys have a more logical reason for wanting him in the team or is he just a nice chap?

Also, Ralf Souquet looks to be going deep at the Kremlin Cup today - will we regret not having him on the team when the USA have Archer?

I think hes the stronger player... Theres an argument for Ortmann with his experience but I think for bottle, good under pressure AND the form currently, it has to be Nikos. Strikes me as someone that doesnt care where hes playing or who against... Maybe a bit too early for Albin yet, I dunno, maybe the experience factor would show up and be a major downfall... I dont know! Ralf doesnt seem to be playing great at min to be fair... Class under Mosconi pressure but you can't ignore current form. [ This message was edited by: The_Lunn on 2012-11-02 10:28 ]

Incidentally, you can watch Nikos LIVE now in his Quarter-Final match against Poland's Karol Skowerski here... http://bambuser.com/v/3112708Or you can see Ralf Souquet vs. Mateusz Sniegocki here... http://bambuser.com/v/3112978In fact you can watch all the quarter finals live here.... http://www.billiard.su/index.asp...But it's interesting to see how the Mosconi players perform. (Nice "back-on-topic" recover there Dave). [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2012-11-02 10:48 ]

I'd go for Albin, we see the same faces every year. Probably prefer Jasmine though lol.
