The European 9-Ball open takes place in Treviso Italy from 8 to 10 November and carries a guaranteed €75000.00 prize fund. There are 2 qualifiers for this event in the UK, 6th October at Mickey Flinns Cambridge and on the 20th October at the Vegas Sports bar in Wakefield Leeds. The qualifiers require a minimum participation amount to take place and that is a minimum of 10 players at each qualifier. Providing there are enough entries then they will take place for sure and the main event is guaranteed anyway regardless of the qualifiers.

To add to my last post, if there are 16 participants then the hotel costs are also covered, up to 4 nights in a double room for those qualified, this applies for both events, Cambridge and Leeds. If you win a group match at the Open and make it to the last 64 your guaranteed also a minimum of €400

Due to lack of interest the Qualifiers in Cambridge and Leeds are cancelled. The European Open will take place in Italy Treviso 8 to 10 November. www.europeanopenonline.eu

Turns out that the European Open itself clashes with GB9... Most of the potential qualifiers will already be paid up for the rest of the GB9 season.
