Anyone taking a summer holiday to Greece should check out this series of tournaments in Chania, originally a pretty fishing village with a idyllic harbour, now a sprawling tourist metropolis, but still with the charming old port and a nice place to visit. It's on the North West coast...  ...Definitely worth a detour if you're out that way.

The poster says: 22-24 June - 9 Ball 20-23 July - 9 Ball 31 August-2 Sept 10-Ball 5-7 October - 9 Ball 15-18 November Big Open 9 Ball 28-30 December - 10 Ball Entry fees are based on player category... A = 100€ B/C = €50 D,etc = 20€ More in a bit! I *think* it says Prize Fund €1,000 plus entries... OK, my Greek is a bit rusty! I really, REALLY hope this is convenient for your dates as I want to hear how you explain to your missus that you're playing in a pool tournament on your honeymoon! Indeed you are right BigDave about the dates. It does say 1000 Euros + the entries, and also there is a dress code for the quarters onwards.

This weekend in Blackpool.. Alwelcome to meet us there for this.. Fancy dress on friday night then clubbing on the saturday night.. Will be in blackpool from dinner time saturday!!

I'm in Crete from 30th June until 14th July. Right in between the tournament dates, looks like I'm gonna have to drink and lie by the pool instead.........gutted
