I have a Balabushka jump cue and wondered who knows anything about these quality cues?

Nice to have something with the Balabushka name on it - I'm sure you love it, and will have years of good service from it.
They were manufactured recently by a company that purchased the Balabushka trade name, and although originally listed for $99 you could find end of stock sales listing them for around $19.
That doesn't mean to say they aren't good cues, but they weren't made by the original Balabuskha company.

I have had a Balabushka Playing cue now for about 6 or 7 years or so and they are quality cues. Mine is a GB5 and cost me around £575 back in 2005. I have had numerous Predator shafts on there including 314, 314-2 & Z2 but i have settled on the 314 original with a Moori medium tip.
I have also played with predator cues for short periods of time (5K6 & Sneaky Pete's) but always go back to the Balabushka.
Although i have never used a jump cue made by them i can only guess they are of good quality. I use a scorpion jump cue these days but in the past have had Predator Air, Sledgehammer, and used Poison VX. My personal favorite is the Predator Air.
I can't really say anything bad about them if i'm perfectly honest.
