Hi fellow Pro9'ers,

Me, Lee Happs, Adam Stevens, Mark Lunn and Liam Waterworth are doing a 24 hour fundraiser at Club 147 in Leicester, starting at 12pm on Friday 20th January, running through to 12pm on the Saturday. We are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support in honour of Mark Lovell, following his recent passing away.

This is going to be a very tough ask for anyone to do 24 hours, but compared to what Mark went through a little bit of sleep deprivation is nothing really. :)

We are relying on your generosity so if you can please donate it will help the cause. Even £1 will be gratefully recieved.

You can choose to sponsor one of us individually and pay up after the event (speak to the person you wish to sponsor if that's the case) or if anyone wishes to donate to the online tribute fund then the link is - http://macmillan.tributefunds.com/BarryFrench

Our target is £500. As of January 18th we have exceeded £700 so our new target is £1,000.

On behalf of all who are taking part in this event, thank you in advance for your generosity.

Thanks,
Barry

Not sure how to do it to be honest. Plus I don't have the equipment anyway.

Two weeks to go, lets see some donations coming in! I know its just after Christmas and New Year, but even just a pound is a great contribution.

Me, Adam, Phil and The Real Deal would all be grateful for your contribution...

The first 11 named donators have a 1 in 11 chance of winning a cool RACKSTARZ calendar... The first EuroMillions Lucky Star drawn on Friday 13 January 2012* (See note below) will decide the winner.

http://macmillan.tributefunds.com/BarryFrench

RACKSTARZ

* (Originally the draw was going to be done on Friday 13 January 2012 - this was impractical as not enough people had donated online - the new date for the draw will be Friday 27 January 2012.

Thanks to Dave Keown for being the first to donate to the cause :-) And a very big thanks to BigDave for putting something on offer to spark some interest :)

My wife asks though - can she have a male calendar if she wins. I don't think she realises that a calender of Earl Strickland, Buddy Hall and Dennis Hatch would put her off men for life :D

The Yorkshire invasion :D

So far there is:-

Me
Mark Lunn
Sam Hirst
Adam Stevens
Craig Dixon

If anybody else would like to be involved please get in touch. If we can have 6 players guaranteed then we can have 3 matches going on at once...

Donations are just as important. Please if you can only donate £1 that is fine, but we want to raise £500 in Marks memory and it is a very worthy cause.

I have to thank Tony and Ram at Club 147 for basically donating all 5 tables out for the whole 24 hours and for staffing the bar at night.

Thanks again to all who show any interest, i hope this will be a success...

Baz

Have updated the first page to show who is doing it, and if you would like to sponsor one of personally, please let us know how much you wish to donate. :)

Our target of £500 has been exceeded, so we are now looking to raise £1,000. This is possible with your help. Two days to go...get the money rolling in :)

"We're sorry, the page you requested cannot be found."

Is that the right link Ads? Good idea, I'll see what I can do to promote the stream later. Hopefully get some last minute donations too.
