Hi all
I have been racking my brains to come up with something new in the world of pool.
So this is what i have come up with.

Pool Roulette. Where a player breaks and wins if the number of the ball potted matches the number he/she betted on.
Can a few of you try this and tell me how you find it?
I will be trying it at my club on Wednesday. If anyone wants to some and have a go.

THE GAME
DEALER RACKS THE BALLS IN A RANDOM ORDER
BLACK BALL ON THE SPOT
PLAYER GETS TO BREAK FROM THE MIDDLE SPOT AT THE OTHER END
DRY BREAK EVERYONE LOOSES HOUSE WINS THE LOT

FOULS
IF THE WHITE BALL IS POCKETED THE PLAYER LOOSES REGARDLESS OF ANY OTHER BALL BEING POCKETED
IF THE WHITE BALL LEAVES THE TABLE THE PLAYER LOOSES REGARDLESS OF ANY OTHER BALL BEING POCKETED
ANY OTHER FOUL (TOUCHING ANY BALL AFTER THE BREAK WITH THE CUE) AND PLAYER LOOSES BET

BETTING
BETS CAN ONLY BE NUMBER BETS
PLAYERS CAN COVER AS MANY NUMBERS AS THEY LIKE
MINIMUM BET IS 20P MAXIMUM IS £1.00 PER NUMBER (20P CHIPS AND £1 CHIPS)
ALL BETS PLACED BEFORE THE RACKING AND NO MORE BETS AFTER
MAXIMUM OF 4 PEOPLE AT A TIME BETTING

ODDS
STRAIGHT 2 - 1 PER BALL POTTED

Interesting idea, will give it a try. Are there any balls in an 8-ball rack which are dead certs to go down? (similar to 1 & wing ball in 9-ball)

No because the racking is totally random, done by the house after all bets are placed.

Guys i just tried it. Serioulsy good fun.
You do need a few punters to make it fun.
P.s it takes the same time as it does in roulette to reload for the next game.
Anyone who wants to do this, simply become the house and get the game going.

Get someone to video a game being played and upload to YouTube for us please Demon... Sounds like a great idea! (Do you need a gaming license to do this though).
