The one and only Georgie Vetters v Gaz Hopkins tomorrow night about 10pm. But it's a long one so I might have to do part one before I go to bed and part 2 on Saturday :)

Im not being bitter at all I've openly said I wasn't good enough to win and just to add your clearly deluded lee if you think that the Vegas Boys were out of order as I said your lads were a joke when I was at table but you obviously don't see that cos your so far up each others arses....p.s if the start is right daz we've got a game

Philip I don't understand your comment bout Barnsley boys as both sets of fans were cheering as loud as each other but the guy supporting u the older guy was loudest everyone there said it was a great night and great atmosphere. As for respect I can honestly say that after playing Gaz twice we have always shook hands and been respectful to each other as Gaz is a gentleman and think I am too some you win some you lose at end of day it is a game and should be enjoyed win or lose

People are always going to be loud ESP when drinking can't control that it's part of the atmosphere .. But calling someone a cheat is out of order ESP when it's clearly not a foul ...

I agree with you completely George. And before this is turned into something it isn't I will just repeat that I had no problem with any of the support from either side. It was just one guy who was out of order by loudly calling me a cheat in front of everyone after the match. That's going a bit too far and smacked of bitterness at losing.

I hope there are more of these days because it was a really good atmosphere and good entertainment.

The matches were played in good spirit george and gaz very entertaining in my eyes a nail biter. yeah certain people were too rowdy at times thats down to the booze, One player in particular who had just won did not show much respect in george/ gaz game forever shouting out tweaker to gaz when a missed shot i would have told him to shut up if it were me playing very ott, but tell you what i admired both players for getting on we the job not many racks run but loved every minute of it. It was noisey when i was leaving about an hour into lee/phil game but unfortunatley it wasent to do we the money game lee /phil were having, it was an outside table were elliot played lee and then rob played jamie, For me i would of stopped that happening and then everyone could have enjoyed the game between lee/phil.

Thats a fair assessment Andy. I know who you mean and I told him to shut up when I heard it. But to give some balance this was a direct response to some previous comments from Gaz's supporters such as 'get in' when George's cue ball rolled towards the pocket. One of our guys (wrongly) thought it was therefore fair game to shout silly remarks. So both sides supporters were guilty of some misplaced comments but none of it was a major problem and it just added to the atmosphere in the end.

Certainly in the game between Phil & Me (aside from the cheat comment) there were no real problems, just banter (a lot of it quite funny) from both sides. The side table action soon dispersed and we had a good atmosphere for our match.

Its disappointing Phil has tried to make out there was a major problem because there wasn't.

unreal this

missed elliots n maccas game so cant comment

gaz n georges game was great and agree willing the cueball in the pocket was out of order,it wa mostly speighty which i told him to shut it then elliott was at it a while shouting tweaker n that, prob bad form from both sets, gaz n george shook hands at the end of a 21 20 which was great to see and expected

lee n phils games didnt see much,if other people wanted to play on other tables then whats the problem, players on diamond should be concentratin on there game, after all its a pool club

to be fair phil that old geezer and his son was the owrst in the club, old guy wouldnt shut up shouting abuse n his son didnt know what day it was but hurled abuse at riggers at asupposably cheatin incident which still hasnt had an apology

many of the people there were to watch gaz n george,so wasnt a suprise if they wandered, hard to watch a game with no interest, atmosphere is like that at alot of money games but if your comparing it to money match tv then its a mile off, only about 20 watchin anyway for all games, should adapt to conditions n crowd if ye a so called money player,i personally think its just sour grapes cos ye got ye fool kicked,so apart from callin lee a cheat and that old giffer shouting abuse when he was in the wrong with his lad then its them 2 who spoilt the night n set the atmosphere into a bad state
