Michael is too strong for me pal in a long race, he should be rated 1 as he's got a lot of experience of playing in world events i.e. World champs, world cup of pool, world team etc. In a tournament where it's race to 9, I'd fancy my chances but race to 21 I'd definitely wouldn't entertain that for now. Maybe if we were playing American 8ball, I'd probably play any 2 rated player apart from my mates. I'm happy to play chun if that's the only one of the 3 challenges I get. ----------------- Regards

Okay if its full of trash thats your opinion, but you know has well as others that your far more experienced at top level than chris, you played in the phillipenes against great players and won matches against them,if you feel victimised then i will drop you to a 3 rated player good luck in finding games eric it will be difficult, Take a good look at the 2 list its full of class players i opened it up and re evaluated players ratings to give the lesser player a chance to show improvement in there game, if any player does not perform over a certain amount of games then that player will drop in grade, Its not about what people have done in the past i was ranked number 1 start of season now am 20 odd, so tournament play is totally different eric to money games, Any way ive taken on board your comments and see your point there was a better way to air your views rather than this, We are trying to build up something in the uk which is unique and what all the players are cryin out for it was only friendly banter eric has (grow some is your catchphrase) as from now i do things petes and my way if dosent suit players personal needs then pm me or contact me direct to discuss the matter, I wont let any player run the show or try to ruin what we have going, To build this into something special we need all the players support so thanx for your views and good luck. andy can i just point out that you seem to be making a school boy error in the spelling department, you are often using the word "HAS" when the word that needs to be used is actually the word "AS"

The rules state i get 3 challenges and i get to choose 1 of them and that's what i'll do. I've had two thus far and waiting for the 3rd and final one and then i'll choose my opponent. Wasn't your pal, Neil Cummins going to challenge me at the last event? I do think that Michael should be a 1 rated player though as he beats the 1 rated players regularly on gb9. ----------------- Regards

not trying to tell anybody what to do or owt here but i think the 1 to 5 rating system just doesnt work well enough for this rankin there are too many players border lining from 2-3 or 3-4 etc................................i think the 5-12 ranking system would work a lot better for mmtv........................again this is just my opinion so dont everyone jump on the band waggon thinking u know it all when actually u know **** all

I think there is an evident problem though - the 5-12 system isn't perfect either it is just different Look at the 5's for examples. The ones I nominated as 5's who play in Leicester locally, some totally tear others a 2nd hole but if they played a 6 or 7 they would be dead meat. Same with the 6's and the 7's...there are so many players in each rating that it's ridiculous to think they are all of the same ability. It is all subjective and to a large degree Andy's MMTV system is just the same, although it involves players who he will know a lot more about from tour etc It's important to look outside of the box a little and realise the ratings are indicators only, and there will be strong and weak of each in each category. Add to the fact everybody is always looking to steal and hustle from others...there is no one system that can work well. It will just have different pro's and con's. My humble two pence worth Baz

ok gibbo 21-11 close game then(butt shaggin if you ask me) and this isnt about me and chris hall,so why would i need to play him to justify an handicap, all i was sayin if im a 2(which i am)then chris is,chris is a good lad and i get on well with him,so its not about me and chris but i also know why chris is bein put as a 3 rated player, remember thingy wore a mask good luck with it anyway, ive said my piece in which many players agree with, maybe im more vocal than others, best way to be in my eyes,if people dont like my upfront attitude, then tough shizen my last post on this matter anyway these events are great and long may they continue, maybe some of us just need to grow some ----------------- Mr Dockerty to you boys [ This message was edited by: unique on 2010-10-30 13:28 ]
