There was always a chance that this thread would descend into a spiteful slanging match, and in hindsight, knowing the original poster's history, I should have gone with my initial instincts and pulled the plug on it straight away.

I've been lucky with the forums at Pro9... They've only ever needed the very lightest of administration, I permit a little "woofing" and "barking" in the MMTV forums because that's always going to be the nature of the beast when offering challenge matches, and it's mainly been a very good-hearted bit of banter, but...

Perhaps somewhat predictably, this thread has become vindictive and hurtful. I've long made it clear that this type of constant badgering of forum members is not permitted - not only does it needlessly wound the intended targets, but it also damages the good standing of the forums.

If people see badgering in the forums it discourages others from posting. These forums have always had a friendly disposition, apart from just a couple of individuals who just don't seem to get it, and will probably never get it.

Well, my time is getting more precious lately, and as this has taken time to resolve, it is effectively costing me money, so I will be enforcing bans to ensure those responsible are made 100% clear that their actions aren't welcome here.

Emails to those affected will be sent shortly.

Good move. Maybe throw in a link to Asperger's Syndrome with that email Dave.

I didn't realise that criticising and debating a difference of opinion meant that myself and Dixon are somehow mocking someones medical condition. Think need to stop playing that card.

He's not playing that card, I am. A lot of what you said you 'had a problem with' Gary can be put down to it, particularly with the written word on a public forum. It'll certainly explain why somebody might feel the need to respond to a rhetorical question. Nobody's suggesting a medical condition is being mocked.

Emails have been sent, so if you are still able to post you are not affected by the bans. My actions concerned the original poster who has had many previous warnings, and someone who opened a new account to stir the pot.

I know nothing of Asperger's and these actions have nothing to do with that,

Well done Dave, these threads were starting to go down the same route as the cuueclubinternational website.

What do you define as punching above your weight?

Chun's beaten Jonny Cooper before. Barry Briggs has beaten Dave Bagg and Speighty has played fellow cat 4's and had a mix of wins and losses.
