I had a text asking for a rematch and replied to say I'd play a race to 50 no problem if split over the 2 venues. But that was before I read this.

It's a shame you want to behave like this Phil. You and your backer are sore losers. I was all ready for a rematch as per my text but, like I said, I'm not getting involved in this childish nonsense. Play someone else.

Disrespectful?

Couldn't have been as disrespectful as the guy (maybe a backer, not sure) shouting at Sam Hirst in your match with him. Dont get me wrong you came back strong and played well but if it was me i'd have got in his face and chinned the guy.

The aftermatch of losing. The only part of 9 ball I hate! The game needs to go back to spirit it should be played in and win or lose have a booze. Not throw your toys out of pram.

Was hoping not to see this sort of behaviour in the nx mmtv'. Already see too much of it at gb9 events'win or lose think players should have a beer or too with opponent and chat about game, don't get me wrong I play to win every game play in'but when I lose I don't beat my self up or blame any one else' do people realise it's a game we all play you win some you lose some' suppose it's the way people have been brought up'cos I was always told to be gracious in defeat'and not cry about it'. There seems to be alot of needle up north between certain players'you would never get that down where I live with any cue sports..win or lose guys it's just a game'were not in school anymore'. Watched abit of Elliotts game lastnite thought he played solid'well done mate..

Exactly mate. Took beating as I should and now we are really good pals and made pals from playing game. Can't be arsed with bullshit that some players bring and no honour when you win or lose! Shame but creeping into the game and needs to stop now

The match between Phil & Me from this weekend will be broadcast on UStream at around 8.15 to 8.30 pm tonight.

I'll transcode the MMTV match Phil refers to from 2010 and upload that later because I know I don't cheat so whatever Phil thought he saw can be made public as far as I'm concerned.
