Cheers for that pal.

I'm new to the site and its the first I've heard about mmtv. Is it just for members or really good players? Or can all skill levels play? Good chance to win a few bob or in my case lose a few!

There are all different standard's of players on there, Andy puts people into different categories then most games are played within each.

So would I be put into the lowest category to start with and try work my way up over the months, or is it based on seeing how I play a few practice racks or something?

Cheers

Andy normally asks around to find out about new player's and decide what category they start off in, what standard would you put yourself at? Do you practice with anyone who could help out?
If not it will be difficult, you might need to show up on a Thursady night and introduce yourself at the club and play a couple of local's.

Lol I'm not here to hustle I just want to have a few games with 9 ball enthusiasts. My names Ben btw. Added it to my profile. Only been playing for nearly a year now. Picked it up fairly quickly but I couldn't put my self into a class without know what a say level 5s standard is.

If anyone could give me an example of say the run out percentage of each class that would narrow it down a bit.

Cheers lads

I would say if you break and dish 2-3/10 breaks regularly you would be a cat 3, anymore a cat 2, 1/ 2 a cat 4. just a rough idea but you should get the picture

Hard to say really... Zorro runs 3/4 in a race to 9 and is only just a 4!! Was a 5 a month or so ago... Only real way to tell is by playing really...

Cheers Simmo mate. On a good day and breaking well I'd probably clear up maybe 1 or 2 from 10 breaks. I'm more than happy to arrange a game with someone who'll be able to shed more light on my class.
Cheers
