i dont want to drop a cat phil,i know i can hold my own in the cat 2,catergory.very different in my opinion playin a race to 9 than a race to 21 for cash, rif i did play on mmtv and played for a decent amount, maybe other peoples money aswell i would have wanted to put some hard decent practice in,in which at this time i cant so reason im not interested in it,playin comps and gb9 is a diff thing,im doin it for myself and not losin other peoples cash or riskin other peoples cash

last gb9 i hardly practiced for it n won it,really suprised myself and this coming gb9 will be no different, just guna let my arm go n if it pays off then happy days

like i said havnt got the time to put the hours in to play for cash, example, not played upto yet in over 3 weeks, time to put a few practice sessions in for gb9 though

Couple things - This CANNOT fiz out - its just unreal...

Andy relaxed the rule for the southerners bringing 5 supporters, to be honest theyre not required cos the northern lads create an atmosphere all on there own (thats a compliment by the way!)

I am surprised I didnt get a match this time, not even offers - but its ok and i completely understand - when it comes to money matches its business and if someone doesnt fancy the job - theres no shame in that whatsoever, and the latest news is that the 2 european players who are coming to next MMTV event dont even want to play me now either and they are ranked inside top 40 on eurotour?? that too me was very surprising, Crazy really, i thought that one woulda been a nailed on match for me... maybe im better than i thought? lol

Lastly = Phil Wildman - you gota get your money on the table and give it a go mate before you talk about it fizzlin out, you done a great job with all the tournes you have run lately, great job, but unless you plaid in that bloody gaff - trust me - you have no idea! lol

fully respect those lads who keep going back for more - the love of the buzz and the experience it gives you is great, dont be surprised to see more northern lads picking up GB9 victories in future because playing in these money matches make GB9 pressure feel like nothing, like practicing really. just my opinion - but ive been there and i am just being honest.

Ossie - looking forward to the Dixon V Storry match up, could see someone winning by 6 or 7 racks but just cant decide either way...

Well said, I also think that the venue is perfect for this type of event. If the format was re-created somewhere else I don't think the atmosphere would compare to Andy's club

Cheers oz great statement MMTV wont fizz out we never fail to fill the card yeah quite a few repeat players but we also have fresh games to, 5 supporters rule was relaxed to be honest made no difference at all,
Already i have plenty over seas players waiting till the dates falls were they are available and they want to come over, If you think it needs spicing up phil i suggest you pay us a visit and then re-evaluate,MMTV is prob the best thing to happen to uk 9ball and i will continue to give it my full attension,
The locals have been diamonds always supporting the events we would like to see more players from the south for sure, and im sure this will be the case in the near future, If it was sponsered by carling it PROBARLY be the best event around MMTV here to stay 18 months on and still ticking.

Just a slight chance Dylan ??.

Mmtv is great, the fact that people are risking not just there money but there friends too, takes some bottle that does and if u want experience it u need to play on the event.

And to say there not a game there is beyond me as there's a game for every1.............apart from ozzi

I agree Craig the lower Cat players as Gaz said will play but a lot of the top boys won,t as they don,t want to be seen to lose with the southern players they are like the yanks won,t travel
