well, i have been watching adam play in practice....i say watch because i have not been playing much whilst practising with him.....but my watching has improved immensely...LOL if adam plays his A game he will dish 40% of games he breaks in and will miss 1-3 balls in a race to 21 and will clear 3 or 4 times when everyone will be stating that it is near enough impossible......with that in mind he is virtually unbeatable when in full flow - but, that said, will he play that well, and will he get a chance, because his opponent is capable of freezing him out for a long time too - tough to call, but i will NEVER back against Adam no matter who he plays [ This message was edited by: Full-English-Breakfast on 2010-11-08 08:02 ]

Obviously I've been watching and playing Shane for some time now so I know a lot about his game and progress over last 6 months or so and I would find it hard to bet against him the ways he's playing right now.
I played some great pool the other day going to a 9-2 lead (with 3 start) then 14-8, and did very little wrong after that but Shane still came back to level and finally edge the match. I didn't start playing bad either - he just stepped up a gear and ground out every single shot. Am still studying the video to work out how he did it lol.
Very very difficult to beat at the moment so am going to go with Shane.... just by a whisker.
if your goin into a 9 2 lead against shane even with 3 start and a 14 8 lead then a 4 rating isnt correct, gibbo a top rated 3 player and seen you give him a bootin other day, looks like your easy games have been dragged from under you now pal, need to grow some like me and take on the big boys haha
yes agree eric lee is easy 3 player.his game as improved so much very solid player now and doesnt miss those easy pots like he used to.

U really think that someone who dishes 30-40% of the time is nearly unbeatable. Ur wrong. If u do that that means he breaks and clears 6-8 times in a race to 21. I'm sorry my friend but if u really think that's good enough ur wrong. That standard would never win a tournament or a money match playing winner breaks.just my opinion but I'm sure daz would agree. Think shane and Adam will be very close. Not for me betting on this one

I think if Shane turns up wearing a Newcastle footy top like Andy Barnett did then Adam will probably do the same to Shane as he did to Andy....(maybe a little closer tho' 21 - 15 to Adam).......otherwise 21-20 either way ! ----------------- The Agent [ This message was edited by: Agentsoap on 2010-11-08 11:44 ]

Phil - what weight would you give a 5 to play you? I'm not officially challenging you, but I will at least think about it if you get the weight right. I would give you 4 start to 21 Barry I've been told this is the correct start

Not for me betting on this one http://www.gb9balltour.com/rankings_official.htmcheck out the break and run % from the top 10 before casting too much doubt 6-8 times assuming his opponent never wins a game break and run is far harder on a raised rack than the lower rack where 6 packs can be common......a 3 pack on a raised rack with a 3 point rule is fairly tough

Why not set up ABS v Daz Appleton for a few shillings then pal? well pal i said i would not bet against him if playing well, pal. i never said i was betting on him, pal............Daz is a different prospect though - a class act and should be number 1 in the world......Adam v Daz would be a ridiculous game for Adam - Adam has the game to compete, but Daz has the overwhelming amount of experience needed when playing for money - only a man with deep pockets wants a game like that

I would give you 4 start to 21 Barry I've been told this is the correct start 4 would have been the right start I think. Thanks for giving me a chance to consider to play (via Simon and Ben). If the timing had been better I could have played. As it happens I tried to be too stubborn in wanting to play, and I just cannot juggle everything at once... I wish you luck against Tem, he's a handy player and I hope to watch the game PS Liam you know you've got a game when I can make it to Vegas Bar for Action Night - chat to you on FB pal
